I'm Sundra Bains — a traveler, home-lover, recipe-tester, and lifelong collector of the small things that make everyday life feel a little richer.
This blog started as a place to keep notes for myself: the hotel I'd book again in a heartbeat, the paint color that finally warmed up our living room, the serum that actually did what it promised, my mother's recipes before I forgot the details. Somewhere along the way it became a place to share those notes with you, too.
I write about travel, home and living, beauty, and cuisine — with a special soft spot for the Indian dishes I grew up on. My hope is that something here saves you time, money, or a disappointing purchase, and that it feels like advice from a friend rather than an ad.
I only recommend what I've genuinely used and loved. If something didn't work for me, I'll tell you — even if it means fewer affiliate links.
Most of what I share is achievable on a real budget, with the occasional splurge called out clearly as exactly that.
Whether it's a trip, a room, or a recipe, I'd rather do fewer things well than chase every trend.
